Prayer Initiatives
There has never been a better time to cover our communities in prayer as we minister to their needs. This Coronavirus Prayer Guide has been assembled as a resource to promote agreement in prayer among local churches.
Arkansas Prays is a city and state prayer movement to strengthen the church and the connections between churches in Arkansas with this simple, church-based model for unceasing prayer. Local churches are working together across denominations, ethnicities, generations, and locations to collectively cover Arkansas in 24/7 prayer.
Providing Lunches to Emergency Workers
Churches from around our community are coordinating with locally-owned restaurants to provide lunches to the Emergency Rooms in the area (Baptist LR and NLR, CHI St. Vincent, Children’s, VA LR AND NLR). This will allow our local churches to be actively engaged during this difficult time to support both the nurses and doctors who are on the front line fighting COVID-19, as well as support our local restaurants in this time of need. Contact [email protected] to learn more about how your church can participate!
