When Churches Unite Around Strong Marriages, Everything Changes
Join the Arkansas Marriage Challenge this February 7-14, 2026
Marriages Struggle in Isolation
In 2022, Arkansas had the highest divorce rate in the nation.
Right now, couples across Arkansas feel stuck and alone in improving their marriage.
Pastors feel overwhelmed trying to help marriages in crisis.
Couples shouldn’t have to figure out marriage alone. They need practical support and know where to find it.
And churches need resources and community to provide that support.
That’s what the Arkansas Marriage Challenge does.
What is the Arkansas Marriage Challenge?
The Arkansas Marriage Challenge is a statewide event through the Arkansas Marriage Initiative happening February 7-14, 2026. During that week:
- Couples take one simple step to strengthen their marriage
- Churches offer marriage enrichment events and support
- Communities across Arkansas make marriage a priority
When couples know where to turn for help and churches provide it, we change the story of marriage in our state.

Who’s Behind This?
The Arkansas Marriage Initiative (AMI) is part of CityChurch Network of Arkansas, which has connected, coached, and collaborated with 300+ churches over the past 25 years.
Our team brings over 65 years of combined experience in marriage ministry—providing coaching, resources, and support to help churches strengthen marriages across our state.
We went through a season where every day we heard about a new couple whose marriage was at risk. We didn’t have a plan. It became overwhelming. With AMI’s help, we formed a marriage discipleship team. Since then, we’ve been able to invest in couples and minister to those who have reached out. Now, some of those at-risk couples are plugged in and serving in our church!
