Speakers

Dr. J. Scott Duvall
Dr. J. Scott Duvall is a distinguished New Testament scholar and professor at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where he holds the J.C. and Mae Fuller Chair of Biblical Studies. He also serves as a senior professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Duvall has significantly influenced biblical scholarship through his co-authored works, including Grasping God’s Word, Living God’s Word, and God’s Relational Presence. His research interests encompass spiritual formation, biblical interpretation, the book of Revelation, the life of Christ, and New Testament Greek. Beyond academia, Dr. Duvall is known for his pastoral heart, mentoring students and contributing to the broader Christian community through his writings and teachings.
Don Blackmore
Pastor Don Blackmore has been serving as the Adult Discipleship Pastor at Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas, since June 2006. With a passion for guiding individuals to become fully devoted followers of Christ, he leads various ministries focused on family and care, including support groups and discipleship programs.
Pastor Blackmore also extends his ministry beyond the church walls by serving as a volunteer chaplain for the Jonesboro Police Department and the Arkansas State Police. He and his wife, Barbara, have four married daughters and are dedicated to investing in marriages within their church and community.
