Vital Families in Schools, a new initiative of the CityChurch Network, seeks to unite churches in partnering with schools to strengthen families with the vision of every church partnering with a local school. This video is an excerpt from a recent meeting of church leaders held via Zoom where one leader shared how their church has connected with families at a nearby school, and how relationships are continuing! We are actively reaching out to local churches to encourage these types of connections and other supports to students and families.

Mary Carol Pederson is a non-profit professional specializing in fundraising, community outreach, and non-profit leadership. From 2020 to 2021, she served on the CityChurch Network team as the Team Leader for Vital Families in Schools. She is the Co-Founder of The CALL and served as the Executive Director from 2006 to 2010 and County Coordinator from 2011 to 2018. Currently, she is the Executive Director for STEP Ministries.
