group of church leaders studying together

Central Arkansas Antioch Initiative

“The center of the Church is the gospel, but the center of leadership development must be the Church—meaning, that the leaders who will ultimately transform communities and change the world come from the church.

     – Designed to Lead by Eric Geiger and Kevin Peck

Effective churches need well-trained leaders. CityChurch Network is committed to providing affordable and local educational excellence through The Antioch Initiative, which provides church-based, innovative and competency-based Biblical education via its partnership with BILD International. From grass roots and executive leadership programs to fully accredited certificate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree options, The Antioch Initiative is critical to expanding the number of trained leaders needed to effectively serve the community and a growing church movement.

Executive Education: Marketplace Leaders Program

“The MPL study greatly helped me see what God’s plan is for me and how I can use that to help my community. I’ve also developed a greater understanding of God’s plan for families and churches and how I fit there.”

     – Courtney Little (President, ACE Glass)

The Marketplace Leaders Program exists to unite a team of kingdom leaders through a series of 10 monthly leadership briefings to explore how they can maximize their contribution to the advance of Christ’s kingdom and the wellbeing of our City.

Bild Institute

The BILD Institute is a set of programs designed to help church leaders accomplish the task of equipping every member of their church–from basic establishment to high-level leadership training. The resources and programs are highly integrated, allowing participants to study together and progress in their development as their training and giftedness emerge in ministry.

“The recent pandemic took all of us by surprise but some churches were more prepared than others to handle the new challenges we face. The BILD philosophy and resources helped many churches in central Arkansas to thrive in the new normal of social distancing. Our network of churches which include local fellowships of different sizes and denominations has continued to meet, train leaders and conduct ministry. The old way of doing church is quickly dying and BILD is leading the way to a more fresh and biblical approach.”

     – Earnest Thomas, Pastor of Discipleship at Saint Mark Baptist Church in Little Rock.
