The Central Arkansas Marriage Initiative (CAMI) is an association of Christians whose goal is to network, equip, and mobilize the local church to help you strengthen marriages in your congregation and community. No matter the size of your church, we want to partner with you!
If you are a pastor or marriage ministry leader we’d love for you to join us at our next meeting on Thursday, September 16, at 7:00 pm. We’re going to discuss FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember Conference being held in Little Rock on Oct. 29-31, and how this can impact your ministry. We’ll also spend some time discussing a Marriage Ministry Workshop we’ll be hosting on Nov. 13, and we’ll hear how one church created monthly date nights and how it’s going for them! You won’t want to miss this one!

It’s a one-day workshop that takes church leaders from “We don’t know where to start” to “This is something we can do.”

The Vital Families in Schools initiative seeks to unite, equip, and mobilize churches, in greater Little Rock, to partner with public schools to strengthen families through family support opportunities, student mentoring, and family-to-family connections.
As we continue to build upon past summits, this year our 2022 Summit takes on a focus of looking at the Why, What, When, and How our ministry can take the next step to effective church/school partnership.
Session Descriptions:
Family Support Opportunities: This session will help your ministry take the next step in serving families through supporting students, staff, and administration in our local schools. We will learn together how to get started, examples of support opportunities, and how to implement them, as well as how to overcome some of the challenges we may face.
Mentoring: This session will help your ministry take the next step in serving families through student mentoring. We will learn together best mentoring practices and overcoming challenges faced, how to mobilize mentors, and how to work with the schools to help them meet their goals.
Family-to-Family Connection: This session will help your ministry take the next step in serving families through family-to-family connections. We will learn ways in which we can get families from our communities into our churches in order that we might be able to minister to them.
